Iraq’s Multiple Extradition Requests of Saddam Hussein’s Daughter Rejected

ERBIL — The government of Jordan has several times rejected Iraq’s request to extradite the daughter of Saddam Hussein, the last dictator of Iraq.

Jordan was reluctant to respond to Iraq’s request positively because it views Raghd Saddam Hussein as “a guest” in its country, Ra’i al-Yawm paper quoted a source from the Jordanian government.

It has also pointed out that Raghd Saddam Hussein is not involved in any political activities in Iraq that could give the authorities a legitimate excuse to send her out of Jordan.
