Kate Middleton may not wear all-black to the BAFTAs for royal etiquette rules

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband Prince William will be attending the BAFTAs on February 18.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte‘s mother attended the red carpet event last year, where the 37-year-old dressed in a off-the-shoulder black floral gown.

However, this year’s BAFTAs is different, with movie and TV stars being encouraged to wear all black on the red carpet to show support for the Time’s Up initiative.

Similar to the 2018 Golden Globe awards, celebrities will walk the carpet in dark colours, to both protest against sexual harassment and support victims of abuse.
